Senior Business Analyst (Remote, Full-time)

Location: Remote from Serbia, Belgrade; working hours are Sunday to Thursday, 10:00–19:00 Israel time.

Salary: from $3,500 gross per month.

What you will do

• Interact with customers and stakeholders to gather business requirements and needs.
• Formulate and document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
• Prepare functional specifications, diagrams, and system schematics.
• Maintain documentation throughout all project stages, including product documentation.
• Work with developers, QA specialists, architects, and product teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business System Analyst, or Requirements Analyst.
• Strong skills in creating technical documentation and system specifications.
• Experience with process and system modeling using UML, BPMN, EPC, and IDEF.
• Experience describing integration flows and understanding client-server architecture.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, REST API, SQL and NoSQL databases, and backend/frontend logic.
• Experience working with developers, QA specialists, architects, and product teams.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles.
• Experience as a Technical Writer, including technical documentation and API specifications.
• Experience writing user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and creating prototypes in tools such as Figma or Balsamiq.
