Data Science Consultant (AI)

What you will do

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Consultants in multidisciplinary client project teams.
• Identify business challenges, analyze data, and extract actionable insights.
• Develop statistical models, optimization solutions, and advanced machine learning applications.
• Apply Generative AI and large language models to create innovative solutions.
• Present analytical results clearly and help facilitate client workshops.

Requirements

• Completed WO Master's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, (Energy) Engineering, or a related technical field involving substantial programming.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong coding skills in Python and at least one additional analytical language, such as R or SQL.
• Solid knowledge of machine learning techniques, optimization methods, and Generative AI.
• Motivation to learn, strong analytical ability, and interest in data and AI-related topics.
• Ability to quickly build expertise and help clients seize opportunities related to data and AI.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments and communicate complex technical concepts as actionable recommendations.
• Fluent English and Dutch, written and oral.

Nice to have

• Previous exposure to or interest in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Additional languages.
