Falcon Complete Analyst Intern Graduate - Summer 2027 (Reading, GBR) (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Learn the Falcon platform, internal tooling, ticketing systems, modules, and technologies.
• Triage and analyze a wide variety of security alerts and incoming customer inquiries, assess priority, investigate requests, and help secure customer environments.
• Perform basic malware analysis and support incident detection, containment, and remediation.
• Manage the Falcon platform, including configuration changes, tuning, and administrative tasks.
• Deliver and present a project that creates or improves security controls or supports business objectives.
• Handle high-pressure situations productively and professionally.

Requirements

• Graduate from a relevant degree program by August 2026, including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Maths, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of information security and incident handling.
• Fundamental understanding of network communications.
• Effective and frequent communication and the ability to collaborate with fellow graduates and employees.
• Desire to grow and expand technical and business skills.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting or managing incident response, including investigations of targeted threats such as advanced persistent threats, organized crime, and hacktivists.
• Experience with computer forensic analysis tools used in incident response investigations.
• Understanding of system internals and systems administration for implementing and executing countermeasures and remediation.
• Knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools, and associated network-log analysis.
• Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Understanding of targeted attacks and the ability to create customized tactical and strategic remediation plans.
• Strong understanding of secure network architecture and network operations.
• Understanding of artificial intelligence or machine learning applications in cybersecurity.
