What you will do

• Support research and development projects involving metals processing, alloy development, heat treatment, melting, rolling, finishing, and product performance.
• Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, including sample preparhirify.globalon, chemical analysis, mechanical testing, and metallographic evaluhirify.globalon.
• Analyze test results and process data to identify trends, performance issues, process varihirify.globalon, and improvement opportunities.
• Support investighirify.globalons into product quality, material properties, customer requirements, and technical solutions with engineers, metallurgists, chemists, and operhirify.globalons personnel.
• Document experiments, procedures, technical findings, and project results; present recommendhirify.globalons and progress updates to technical and management teams.
• Participate in plant trials, process audits, production support activities, and safety and environmental compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Currently attending an accredited four-year college and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Strong interest in metals manufacturing, materials processing, product development, or industrial research.
• Basic understanding of chemistry, material properties, thermodynamics, phase transformhirify.globalons, or mechanical testing concepts.
• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze technical data.
• Strong written and verbal communichirify.globalon skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborhirify.globalvely in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applichirify.globalons, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and environmental requirements in laboratory, manufacturing, and plant environments.

Nice to have

• Prior laboratory, manufacturing, or research experience.
