Specialist Analyst, Platform Risk Intelligence (Child Safety)

Location: Manila, Philippines; hybrid office working with 2 days per week in the office. Working hours are Monday to Friday daytime with weekend rotation as required.

What you will do

• Detect, investigate, and analyse online threats involving child sexual abuse material, grooming behaviours, and child exploitation using OSINT techniques and, where relevant, personas.
• Convert unstructured open-source intelligence into clear, timely reports for clients and, where appropriate, law-enforcement partners.
• Track evolving language, coded terms, and evasive tactics across messaging apps and closed groups.
• Deliver training for new recruits and coach colleagues within the child-safety vertical.
• Organise content delivery for a small team across time zones, including handover notes and meeting outcomes.
• Support clients during calibration calls and urgent safety incidents, identify emerging risks, and propose workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the online child-safety or risk space, ideally with subject-matter depth in child endangerment.
• Genuine interest in online safety and proactive research into new trends and areas of risk.
• Experience in research, safeguarding, intelligence, or a similar role, including data collection, analysis, or intelligence operations; law-enforcement, NGO, or major technology-platform experience is valuable.
• Excellent research and report-writing skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Fluent English and a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• High emotional resilience and discretion, with strict adherence to confidentiality protocols when handling distressing material.
• Ability to prioritise multiple cases, manage deadlines, and adapt creatively and flexibly to changing circumstances.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OSINT tooling.
• SQL, Python, or data-manipulation skills.
