Image Processing Software Engineer

Location: Rehovot, Israel; onsite role. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Own project-level design, architecture, and implementation of complex, stateful real-time image processing workflows on distributed systems.
• Design, optimize, and implement image processing algorithms and supporting frameworks.
• Work with algorithm engineers to adapt algorithms for real-time operation.
• Run performance analysis and benchmarks using profiling tools across computers and devices.
• Design experiments, analyze real measurement data, and quantify system performance using sound metrics.
• Collaborate with application software developers and system and hardware teams to implement software workflows and APIs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience and strong Python and C++ skills.
• Experience with numerical algorithms and optimization, image processing fundamentals, and hardware control or instrumentation software.
• Knowledge and experience in CPU low-level optimization, GPU data flow optimization, and CUDA.
• Hands-on experience developing both algorithms and supporting frameworks.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with performance profiling tools.
• Experience with end-to-end, regression, and automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.
• Product mindset with an understanding of customer needs and business impact.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

• M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Academic, military, or professional honors, awards, or recognition for outstanding achievements.
• Experience with electron microscopy or semiconductor equipment.
