Software Engineer (Triton)

What you will do

• Build framework support that enables AI developers to use hirify.global hardware with Triton and PyTorch.
• Design, implement, optimise, and support critical software across a complex ML software stack.
• Deliver new Triton features, review code, and write technical documentation.
• Improve software performance, quality, and usability for demanding machine learning workloads.
• Coordinate open-ended technical work across teams and collaborate with upstream open-source communities.
• Contribute to other framework teams, including PyTorch, JAX, and TensorFlow, as needed.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills, with judgement to manage quality, complexity, and technical debt.
• Experience developing in Python and C++.
• Experience in compiler development.
• Ability to manage complex technical tasks with cross-team dependencies.
• Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to collaboration and technical leadership.
• Interest in AI, ML frameworks, performance optimisation, or computationally intensive engineering.
