HSEQ Manager (Offshore Wind)

Location: Based in IJmuiden, The Netherlands, with expected domestic and international travel to projects, vessels, and other Føn locations.

What you will do

• Own, maintain, and continuously improve the Corporate Management System and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, client standards, and internal governance; maintain certifications and support audits, inspections, and client verifications.
• Develop HSEQ plans, procedures, and risk assessments for offshore wind projects, and monitor incidents, non-conformities, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Support Project Managers and Operations through project kick-offs, risk workshops, readiness reviews, site and vessel visits, audits, and inspections.
• Lead incident investigations, deliver HSEQ training, inductions, and toolbox talks, and promote safe working practices and continuous improvement.
• Engage with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders on HSEQ alignment, tenders, pre-qualification, and client documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HSEQ, Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HSEQ experience, preferably in offshore wind, offshore energy, maritime, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems and standards.
• Experience with offshore operations, project-based organizations, and client-driven HSEQ requirements.
• Proficiency in English.
• Structured, proactive, and confident when engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable working strategically and hands-on in a dynamic operational environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Dutch and EU HSEQ regulations.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
