Senior Integrations Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote; Ann Arbor, MI is listed as a role location. Remote compensation is localized according to employee work location. In-person onboarding in Ann Arbor, Michigan may be required.

What you will do

• Set the technical direction and standards for a portfolio of more than a dozen integrations.
• Lead delivery across internal engineers and external vendor partners, reviewing work and ensuring long-term maintainability.
• Build, deploy, operate, and maintain integrations with AWS, Azure, GCP, SIEM, SOAR, and TIP platforms.
• Design highly available and scalable API connectors and contribute to open-source APIs and SDKs.
• Develop AI Agent skills, plugins, and instructions for building and maintaining integrations.
• Automate integration building, testing, monitoring, and deployment through CI/CD while shaping the roadmap around customer needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years focused on integrations or robust backend systems.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Python or Golang.
• Deep expertise in API-first development, service integration, and unifying multiple APIs through solid service contracts.
• Experience setting technical direction for a multi-integration or platform effort and developing engineers.
• Ability to independently drive integrations while working with product management, customer success, partners, and engineering teams.
• Commitment to CI/CD, clean maintainable code, scalable design, and improved deployment and developer workflows.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, including explaining technical concepts to engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Action-oriented, iterative, and data-driven approach to technical decision-making.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience integrating security platforms such as Splunk, Cortex XSOAR, Anomali, or Recorded Future.
• Cybersecurity engineering background.
• Experience integrating with vendor marketplaces such as AWS or Splunk.
• Experience expanding REST/gRPC microservice architectures.
• Interest in using AI and LLM tools to improve coding and productivity.
• Experience with cloud providers, especially Google Cloud.
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining containerized services in Kubernetes.
• Experience enforcing test coverage through CI practices, linters, code-complexity checks, clean abstractions, and established design patterns.
