Quantitative Researcher - Experienced Hire (AI)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work with flexible in-office days.

Base pay: $165,000–$325,000 per year, with potential discretionary bonus and additional benefits.

What you will do

• Develop sophisticated investment models using a rigorous scientific method.
• Apply quantitative techniques, including machine learning, to large and diverse datasets.
• Create and test complex investment ideas in partnership with engineers.
• Participate in reading circles, academic seminars, and conferences covering statistics, machine learning, and data science.

Requirements

• Degree in a technical or quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or computer science; bachelor’s through doctorate-level education is accepted.
• Intermediate skills in at least one programming language, such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience conducting an in-depth research project using real-world data.
• Ability to think independently, approach data analysis creatively, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
