Backend Developer (PHP)

Location: Fully remote work or relocation to Cyprus; office visits in Cyprus are optional.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain flexible CRM features.
• Analyze code, refactor components, and improve application performance.
• Write automated tests and review colleagues' code.
• Participate in process optimization, including task detailing, issue resolution, and prevention.
• Reduce technical debt and keep development tools up to date.

Requirements

• Ability to plan work, find effective solutions, learn independently, and complete tasks from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and experience with object-oriented development.
• Experience with Git and other version control systems.
• Experience with MySQL 5.7+ including query optimization and indexing.
• Basic knowledge of Linux, Nginx, and Redis.
• Experience with Symfony 4+ or other frameworks; the current stack uses Symfony 7.4.
• Experience writing tests with PHPUnit and understanding of SOLID principles.
• English at Pre-Intermediate level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with TDD and DDD.
