Software Developer (Laravel/PHP)

Location: Remote from the Philippines; full-time work during U.S. Pacific Time business hours.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and optimize web applications using Laravel and JavaScript.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and manage application data in relational databases.
• Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces.
• Collaborate on planning and implementing features, participate in code reviews and testing, and document technical work.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while improving performance, security, and responsiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven professional experience in software development or web application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Laravel and PHP.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+, AJAX, JSON, Fetch API, and jQuery.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, or similar front-end technologies.
• Working knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases, plus experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git or another version control system; understanding of MVC architecture and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills; ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate with a remote team.
• Availability to work full-time during U.S. Pacific Time business hours.
