Senior SAP ABAP Developer (FI/CO)

Location: Hybrid in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications and custom solutions supporting Finance and Controlling processes.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable development solutions.
• Develop ABAP and ABAP OO applications, reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, APIs, and data exchange processes.
• Implement and maintain integrations between SAP FI/CO, other SAP modules, and external systems.
• Debug, troubleshoot, analyse errors, and optimize the performance of FI/CO-related developments.
• Collaborate with SAP FI/CO Functional Consultants, product owners, business stakeholders, external implementation partners, and technical teams while contributing to technical concepts, architectures, documentation, development standards, and agile activities.

Requirements

• Several years of professional SAP ABAP development experience with hands-on experience in SAP Finance & Controlling solutions, ideally at senior level.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP development and object-oriented programming with ABAP OO.
• Solid understanding of SAP FI/CO processes, data structures, and technical integration points.
• Hands-on experience developing custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and applications for SAP Finance and Controlling.
• Experience with SAP development tools, modern development practices, software development, testing, version control, and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies, APIs, and data exchange formats.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to analyse technical requirements and create sustainable, scalable, and maintainable SAP solutions.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and professional experience; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; and a structured, independent, solution-oriented approach.
• Very good English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing SAP FI/CO solutions in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Knowledge of CDS Views, OData Services, RAP, or SAP BTP.
• Familiarity with SAP Clean Core principles and modern extensibility approaches.
• Experience with complex SAP Finance integrations and custom developments.
• Experience in agile product teams, DevOps environments, or large-scale SAP transformation projects.
• German language skills.
