Senior Storyboard Concept Artist (Games | Visual Storytelling)

What you will do

• Create expressive storyboards for character interactions, gameplay moments, cinematics, and narrative sequences.
• Translate scripts, creative briefs, and narrative ideas into visual storytelling with clear composition, camera angles, staging, transitions, pacing, and continuity.
• Develop thumbnails, keyframes, sketches, visual explorations, and multiple staging approaches to communicate movement, action, emotion, and spatial relationships.
• Communicate character emotion, personality, and intent through poses, expressions, body language, and character performances.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Animators, Character Artists, Game Designers, and Narrative Teams; incorporate feedback and iterate while preserving creative intent.
• Support the transition from storyboards to animatics, animation, and in-game implementation while maintaining visual consistency and storytelling quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in storyboarding, visual development, concept art, or related disciplines.
• Professional experience in games, animation, film, or other narrative-driven visual productions.
• An exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong storyboarding, visual storytelling, and cinematic composition.
• Excellent drawing fundamentals, including anatomy, perspective, posing, staging, and gesture.
• Strong understanding of camera language, shot composition, continuity, visual pacing, character acting, expressions, and emotional storytelling.
• Ability to communicate complex actions, emotions, and character interactions clearly through images.
• Experience creating storyboards, animatics, or keyframe sequences.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, or equivalent professional tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across creative disciplines; strong communication skills and fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience creating storyboards for game cinematics or interactive storytelling.
• Experience with stylized and cartoon-inspired visual aesthetics.
• Strong knowledge of action staging, combat readability, and gameplay camera design.
• Experience developing expressive and comedic character interactions.
• Familiarity with Blender, Unreal Engine, Unity3D, or other real-time visualization tools.
• Experience creating animatics with timing, camera movement, and temporary audio.
• Previous experience working in a co-development environment.
