Обязанности чётко очерчены и связаны с надёжностью авиационных систем в профильной аэрокосмической компании, но работа только на месте и возможный допуск к секретной информации сужают круг доступных вариантов.
Senior Engineer, Reliability (Aerospace): Developing and managing aircraft reliability requirements, budgets, analyses, and testing with an accent on FMEA/FMECA, fault tree analysis, reliability predictions, and aircraft availability. Focus on identifying high-risk failure modes, analyzing flight and field data, improving fault tolerance, and communicating reliability performance to engineering leadership and customers.
Location: On-site in Seattle, Washington, United States
What you will do
Develop and maintain aircraft-level reliability requirements, objectives, program plans, budgets, metrics, and growth-test requirements.
Support aircraft system safety assessments and technical reviews, including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and reliability review boards.
Lead or support FRACAS activities and analyze ground-test, flight-test, supplier, maintenance, and field-performance data to identify reliability trends.
Work with multidisciplinary design teams and suppliers to eliminate single-point failures, reduce high-risk failure modes, improve fault tolerance, and review supplier analyses and test results.
Communicate reliability performance, risks, budgets, assumptions, and corrective actions to customers and program leadership while mentoring junior engineers and improving reliability processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in reliability engineering, systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of related experience in reliability engineering, systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
Direct experience supporting aircraft development, integration, testing, sustainment, or operations.
Experience developing and managing reliability budgets at the system, subsystem, or equipment level.
Proficiency with FMEA/FMECA, FTA, RBD, Weibull analysis, reliability predictions, and FRACAS.
Familiarity with MTBF, MTBCF, failure rate, mission reliability, operational availability, and inherent availability metrics.
Experience using ReliaSoft, Windchill Quality Solutions, Isograph, RAM Commander, or equivalent reliability analysis tools.
Ability to interpret aircraft mission profiles, operating environments, duty cycles, and test data; work with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers; and communicate through analytical work, technical writing, presentations, and customer interaction.
Ability to obtain and maintain any security clearance required for the program.
Nice to have
Experience with military aircraft, unmanned aircraft, or other defense aerospace platforms.
Experience managing aircraft-level reliability allocations and flowing requirements down to suppliers.
Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-217, NPRD, EPRD, RIAC 217Plus, or equivalent reliability prediction methods and databases.
Experience integrating reliability engineering with system safety, maintainability, logistics, and availability analyses.
Knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance and condition-based maintenance approaches.
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering and requirements management tools.
Certified Reliability Engineer credentials or equivalent professional certification.
Active U.S. security clearance.
