Storyboard Artist (Animation)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; remote work available, with the downtown studio available for in-person team building and collaboration.

Expected compensation: $4,000 per board ($1,000 per one-minute episode), depending on experience and role requirements.

What you will do

• Redraw storyboard panels quickly and efficiently based on director notes.
• Follow instructions from notes and production discussions.
• Communicate work progress to the director, assistant director, and production team.
• Maintain the show’s quality and visual style throughout storyboard work.
• Draw in a loose gestural style while preserving clear storytelling and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience is required.
• Excellent drawing and composition skills.
• Solid knowledge of story, including language, acting, and craft.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to work digitally, with experience in StoryboardPRO and/or Photoshop.
