Russian Language Crypto-Linguist

Location: Fort Gordon, GA; US citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.

Salary: $120,000–$240,000 per year.

What you will do

• Translate, transcribe, and prepare summaries or gists of Russian-language materials.
• Apply knowledge of language origins and cultural context to produce nuanced translations.
• Perform triage analysis on incoming language materials and determine processing priority.
• Use language-processing tools and databases to annotate required data.
• Maintain accurate English grammar in written work.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required for consideration.
• Four years of crypto-language processing experience, including translating or gisting sophisticated written and/or spoken materials and demonstrating all lower OLA skills; translating, transcribing, and/or gisting must have been the primary duty for at least two of those four years.
• ILR Skill Level 3 in Audio or Graphic required.
• US citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
• Strong command of English and consistently correct grammar.
