QA Practice Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Vilnius or Kaunas; work is also offered from hirify.global offices in Vilnius, Kaunas, Jakarta, or Luxembourg, from home, or anywhere in the world.

Salary: from €6,600 gross/month, depending on experience and skills.

What you will do

• Shape and drive QA strategy, introducing AI-powered testing tools, methodologies, and best practices across engineering teams.
• Experiment with and implement AI agents for test generation, execution, maintenance, and failure analysis.
• Help QA engineers transition to AI-assisted workflows through agent orchestration and validation.
• Establish quality standards and metrics for reliable, efficient, and consistent testing across hirify.global products.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, AI, and DevOps teams to integrate modern testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive continuous improvement and turn emerging ideas into scalable QA practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering spanning strategy and automation, with a track record of driving change across teams and a clear point of view on agentic workflows in QA.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar, and programming languages including JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
• Solid understanding of unit, integration, API, and end-to-end testing strategies, test reliability, and automation best practices.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools and agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, MCP, or similar to improve QA workflows, including demonstrating practical applications, validating AI-generated results, and measuring impact.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, scripting, and quality metrics.
• Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams and drive change.
• Proactive, curious, and adaptable mindset with a passion for experimenting with emerging technologies.
