Electronic Security Project Manager (Electronic Security Systems)

Location: Dallas, TX, USA; preferred locations include Dallas, Phoenix, Sterling, and Richmond. The role includes client-site and construction-site work, travel up to 25% of the time, and regular physical activity on job sites.

What you will do

• Manage electronic security systems integration projects across initiation, execution, and closeout, controlling scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, delegate responsibilities, lead client and internal meetings, and maintain clear written and verbal communication.
• Develop project schedules, task lists, budgets, deliverables, documentation, and punch lists while tracking issues and solutions.
• Perform prospective work-site verification and coordinate drawings, design reviews, system programming, and final system checkout.
• Act as the primary client interface, manage expectations and satisfaction, and build long-term client relationships.
• Coordinate training and project turnover to the client, service department, and sales teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of project management experience in commercial construction trades and settings or experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS).
• Strong technical abilities and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience in a client-facing role with a pleasant, professional demeanor.
• Solid understanding of PMP methodologies and best practices.
• Availability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Ability to comply with job-site safety regulations and use required PPE; ability to work on construction sites, remain on foot for at least 40% of the time, occasionally climb ladders, use stairs, and lift or move materials up to 20 pounds.

Nice to have

• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
• Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification.
• Knowledge of Lenel, Genetec, or Avigilon certifications.
