Moderation & Compliance Executive (AI)

Location: Hybrid (London); fully remote overnight work is also stated. Shift: 2am to 9am UK time, Tuesday to Saturday.

What you will do

• Review and action user-generated content against content and community guidelines.
• Investigate Terms of Service violations, including explicit content breaches, impersonation, copyright claims and DMCA issues, and off-platform risks.
• Prioritise moderation queues by risk and turnaround time using moderation tooling.
• Escalate high-risk and edge cases to the Moderation Manager and Head of Trust & Safety with clear decision notes.
• Identify emerging risks and provide feedback for policy and tooling improvements.
• Maintain decision records for audits, compliance reviews, and appeals, and partner with Support and Creator teams on account and compliance escalations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, or compliance, ideally in user-generated content, social, or platform environments.
• Strong judgement and fast decision-making in grey-area cases.
• Clear written communication, high discretion, and calm handling of sensitive content.
• Comfort using tools such as Slack, Notion, Intercom, Retool, or similar.
• Comfort reviewing adult-only (18+) content.
• Ability to commit to regular overnight hours and handle sensitive content with consistency, empathy, and fairness.
• Ability to work independently, take accountability for decisions, and maintain high-quality documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with moderation frameworks, DMCA workflows, the Online Safety Act, the EU Digital Services Act, or platform Terms of Service enforcement.
