AI Engineer (Middle/Senior)

What you will do

• Design and deliver end-to-end production AI systems, from problem definition and solution architecture through deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Build and integrate LLM applications, AI agents, RAG solutions, computer vision systems, and machine-learning models.
• Design AI architectures, data flows, APIs, model pipelines, evaluation methods, and production workflows.
• Develop and integrate reliable AI services with backend services, databases, external APIs, and enterprise workflows.
• Optimise AI systems for quality, latency, scalability, cost, and reliability; troubleshoot systems and support clean-code and engineering best practices.
• Deploy and maintain applications using Docker, Linux, Microsoft Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, or equivalent cloud technologies, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting technical decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Candidates from UIT, VNU, HCMUT, HCMUTE, or equivalent universities are preferred.
• At least 2 years of AI/ML engineering experience, with 3+ years preferred, including hands-on delivery of systems to production.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end AI lifecycle: problem definition, architecture, implementation, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ability to explain personal ownership, architecture, technical decisions, alternatives, and trade-offs in previous projects.
• Practical experience with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, computer vision, or applied machine learning.
• Strong Python and backend experience with FastAPI, REST APIs, Docker, Linux, and cloud deployment.
• Familiarity with vector databases, databases, asynchronous workflows, distributed systems, or event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of AI evaluation, inference optimisation, monitoring, reliability, testing, and maintainable software engineering practices.
• Good problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, and English communication skills. Experience that is mainly academic or PoC-based without production ownership may not be suitable.
