Data Services Senior Specialist (Networking)

What you will do

• Support SDWAN, SDLAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, MPLS VPN, IP, and customer connectivity services.
• Support corporate and wholesale customer connections across VFNET, mobile, and Turk Telekom infrastructure.
• Test, check, and configure customer routers, switches, and modems using multi-vendor network equipment.
• Resolve operational problems, implement permanent solutions, follow escalations, and coordinate voice, security, cloud, and other support teams.
• Communicate with corporate and wholesale customers regarding technical issues and prepare low-level designs for complex network structures.
• Prepare performance and root-cause reports and take corrective actions; support information security and business continuity requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in science or engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications sector.
• Hands-on experience with SDWAN and SDLAN technologies, including Fortinet and Huawei.
• Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi technologies, including Aruba and Huawei.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Nokia, and Huawei PE routers, as well as Juniper, Huawei, and Cisco routers, switches, and modems.
• Hands-on experience with passive network equipment, fiber modules, WAN and LAN connection modules, connectors, and connection standards.
• Full knowledge of Layer 2 networking configuration and good understanding of IP, Internet, MPLS VPN, data-center networks, and Turk Telekom infrastructure.
• Experience designing complex networks and deep experience with traffic engineering and QoS technologies.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and EIGRP.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Full knowledge of CCNP/CCIE and NSE content.
