Client Service Supervisor (Alternatives)

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annual base salary plus annual target bonus

What you will do

• Prepare, review, and approve monthly and quarterly NAV packages and allocations for funds investing across equity, fixed income, private debt, syndicated debt, private equity, real estate, hedge funds, and other financial instruments.
• Reconcile general ledger transactions and balances against fund capital statements, private loan documents, prime brokerage statements, Markit WSO reporting, and supplemental client reporting.
• Work with clients to resolve equalization, IRR, management fee, and waterfall/carry calculations.
• Support year-end fund financial statement audits, regulatory reporting, tax preparation, and quarterly and annual financial reporting cycles.
• Prepare and review investor capital calls and distributions, and support new business, product implementations, and conversions.
• Enhance policies, procedures, internal controls, and technology tools; train, cross-train, coach, and provide performance feedback to staff.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a business-related field.
• Detailed knowledge of one or more alternatives industry segments: hedge funds, public/private debt funds, private equity, or real estate funds.
• Highly proficient with Excel.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in Alternatives Fund Accounting, Global Custody, and/or Transfer Agency.
• Supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of WSO.
