Sr Cybersecurity Architect (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Salary: $130,000–$190,000 annually, with potential annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead security architecture reviews for new digital products and major changes to existing products.
• Design and maintain SAST, cloud security posture, SDLC security, IAM, RBAC, least-privilege access, and Web Application Firewall strategies.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with development, cloud operations, engineering, and IT teams on secure development practices.
• Present threats, vulnerabilities, risks, metrics, trends, and remediation recommendations to developers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Respond to and triage digital product security incidents, including digital forensics and vulnerability findings from tools, penetration tests, and security researchers.
• Secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and OCI, including AI and MCP development workloads.

Requirements

• 10+ years of applicable experience.
• CISSP certification or equivalent cybersecurity-related experience.
• Certifications or equivalent experience in networking, cloud principles, and incident response.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to present cybersecurity risks and remediation recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ability to respond to security incidents and perform digital forensics, including limited night or weekend availability.
• Familiarity with IT security policies and procedures, plus strong analytical and communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of web applications, server and container instances, middleware, and AWS architecture with security controls.
• Experience with DAST, SAST, vulnerability scanning tools such as Insight AppSec, Insight VM, Insight CloudSec, and Burp Suite Pro, and collaboration with developers and engineers on vulnerabilities, risks, and remediations.
• Ability to foster cybersecurity practices throughout the software development community.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining and maturing a vulnerability management program.
• Experience or familiarity with Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud.
• Experience securing custom AI/MCP applications and integrations.
