Senior Associate, Configuration Management (Defense Tech)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, US. Onsite role with a 9/80 schedule; travel required at 10%. Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance is required, and security clearances may only be granted to US citizens.

What you will do

• Establish and maintain product baseline design configurations.
• Control, account for, and document product changes in accordance with contractual requirements and company policies.
• Interpret contractual Configuration Management requirements and ensure compliance.
• Prepare contractually required data submittals, project documentation, analysis, and reports.
• Prepare, coordinate, and submit engineering change proposals.
• Analyze, evaluate, and integrate business processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of Configuration Management or Data Management experience; alternatively, a graduate degree or equivalent with 0–2 years of relevant experience, or at least 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, specifications, industry Configuration Management standards, and customer requirements.
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management tools and computer systems used to produce data, analysis, and reports.
• Knowledge of Contract Deliverable Data Practices, design practices, manufacturing techniques, and inspection requirements.
• Knowledge of business system analysis, technical systems, business functions, procedures, equipment, and methods.
• Knowledge of customers’ current business processes and a systematic approach to problem solving.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance.

Nice to have

• Active US Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings and related specifications.
• Experience managing software development and software change control.
