Senior QA Automation

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks with Playwright and/or Cypress, JUnit, and modern test automation practices.
• Build and execute tests across the full test pyramid, including unit, component, integration, contract, API, end-to-end, regression, performance, and load testing.
• Own component and integration testing for Java microservices, validating service behavior, data flows, and API contracts across service boundaries using tools such as Testcontainers, WireMock, or Pact.
• Automate Workforce Management scenarios covering forecasting, schedule generation, scheduling rules, constraints, staffing calculations, shift patterns, breaks, and skills.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates, analyze defects, identify root causes, and drive quality improvements across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, domain experts, and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, quality standards, reusable automation assets, and test strategies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Proven experience designing component and integration test suites for Java microservices, including tools such as Spring Boot Test, Testcontainers, WireMock, and REST Assured.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress using TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with contract testing, such as Pact or Spring Cloud Contract.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools and practices, such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience testing Workforce Management forecasting and scheduling engines or other complex rule-based business systems, including validating forecast outputs against historical volume and handle-time data, staffing calculations against service-level targets, and schedules against labor rules, shift patterns, breaks, and skills.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Contact Center, CX, CCaaS, Routing, or Voice platforms.
• Understanding of telephony, IVR, call flows, agent routing, and customer interaction systems.
