Analyst - Data Engineering (Databricks)

Location: Avenida Paseo de la Reforma 505, Torre Mayor, 06500 Mexico City, Mexico; hybrid, with at least three days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and ETL processes, including unit testing for functionality and performance.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor data workflows and pipelines for performance, reliability, and efficiency, implementing improvements as needed.
• Create and maintain documentation for data processes, architecture, and workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience working as a Data Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in data modeling and database design.
• Strong understanding of ETL and ELT concepts.
• Experience with API integration and data ingestion from various sources.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
