Senior Planner (Data Centre Construction)

Location: Full-time in Norway, initially at the Kvandal campus in Narvik. Future projects may be located elsewhere in Norway, the Nordics, or Europe; central Oslo-based work with travel to projects or local relocation for the project duration may be possible.

What you will do

• Develop, manage, and maintain project and master construction programmes for hyperscale data centre developments.
• Review, challenge, and manage General Contractor schedules against contractual, technical, and commercial requirements.
• Build and own baseline programmes or control the General Contractor’s programme, depending on the project.
• Monitor progress, analyse variances and critical path impacts, and identify emerging schedule risks.
• Lead float analysis, what-if scenarios, mitigation planning, and recovery strategies.
• Produce programme reports and coordinate schedule integration with contractors, consultants, project management, commercial, design, construction, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Approximately 8+ years of relevant planning or scheduling experience, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong understanding of data centre construction sequencing, MEP integration, and commissioning logic.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject or similar planning tools.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interrogate contractor programmes and challenge logic, sequencing, and durations.
• Excellent analysis, reporting, and communication skills, including the ability to present complex programme data clearly.
