2027 Index Rebalancing Quantitative Research Intern (AI)

What you will do

• Research market inefficiencies across Asia-Pacific and identify ideas that can generate tradable insights.
• Find, test, and validate quantitative research ideas.
• Build research tools and data pipelines, using AI agents to accelerate research.
• Own a research project from start to finish.
• Present findings to the team and defend the conclusions.
• Work closely with the portfolio manager on the APAC Tactical team.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field.
• Strong coding and database skills.
• Solid grounding in probability and statistics.
• Genuine, enthusiastic use of AI, including experience building things with AI tools.
• Self-challenging and skeptical of personal research results, with curiosity about how markets work.
• Clear communication skills and strong ownership.
