Macro Research Analyst (Crypto)

What you will do

• Produce institutional-grade research across macroeconomics, crypto, traditional finance, and industry themes.
• Develop original ideas, analytical frameworks, methodologies, and market narratives.
• Build models and visualizations using market data, public on-chain data, and internal sources.
• Track market trends, risks, opportunities, market structure, tokenization, DeFi, and institutional adoption.
• Coordinate research narratives with teams across the business and build an external research network.
• Share insights across the industry and expand the reach of research content.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in crypto research or a closely related role, or 5+ years in consulting, venture capital, investment banking, asset management, or capital markets.
• Deep understanding of macroeconomics, financial markets, and the relationship between traditional finance and the crypto economy.
• Track record of original thinking, differentiated views, new frameworks, and market-shaping narratives.
• Ability to source, clean, structure, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Proficiency with financial modeling, data processing, and analysis tools; Python or R for data manipulation and visualization.
• Collaborative work style, strong work ethic, and ability to perform in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL or data querying.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• CFA qualification.
