Intermediate Test Automation Engineer

Location: Skopje or Belgrade; hybrid work with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Review product requirements and engineering functional specifications to define test strategies and scope.
• Design and document test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Design, implement, execute, and maintain automated test suites for different applications.
• Contribute to the test automation framework using industry best practices and optimize its efficiency and scalability.
• Analyze automation failures and issues, provide detailed technical feedback, document procedures, and report test results.
• Mentor junior automation engineers and coordinate with the Testing Team Lead on daily tasks, progress tracking, and reporting.

Requirements

• Technical educational background.
• 2–4 years of QA experience with an automation focus.
• Good knowledge of QA, SDLC, QA terminology, and QA practices.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Good knowledge of web applications and web services.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with programming or scripting languages, with Java preferred, and writing automated tests.
• Understanding of basic Page Object Model, Data Driven Testing, and reporting design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, and Docker.
