Software Developer (C++ / Real-Time / High-Performance) – Fighter Radar Design

What you will do

• Develop robust, high-performance software for advanced fighter radar systems.
• Work across the full software lifecycle, from early requirements through deployed and verified functionality.
• Collaborate with system engineers, domain specialists, and stakeholders to refine requirements and design solutions.
• Integrate, test, and verify software in complex system environments.
• Ensure software quality through modern development practices and contribute to technical decisions, continuous improvement, and agile ways of working.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid programming experience in C++ or a similar language, or strong motivation to develop in C++ in a system-oriented environment.
• Experience working in a Linux-based development environment.
• Understanding of modern software development practices, including version control and CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to pass security vetting under current security-protection regulations; additional citizenship obligations may apply to positions requiring security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-performance, real-time, or distributed systems.
• Experience with modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD and TDD.
• Experience with signal processing, radar systems, sensor technologies, or communication protocols.
• Experience with software verification, SIL/HIL, or model-based testing.
• System-level understanding of complex products involving software, hardware, and algorithms.
