DevOps & Platform Engineer (Infrastructure Automation)

Location: Hybrid (Remote/Office), Brande, Midtjylland, Denmark

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate platform services supporting product development, testing, validation, and deployment.
• Develop automation solutions, Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, integrations, and platform tooling.
• Improve observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, operational analytics, incident management, and performance analysis.
• Support and evolve virtualization and platform technologies while contributing to infrastructure modernization and future cloud capabilities.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product teams, validation specialists, and infrastructure teams to improve developer productivity and platform capabilities.
• Contribute to platform standardization, self-service capabilities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
• Strong experience with Ansible, PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, Git, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tooling.
• Proven ability to create and maintain automation frameworks, deployment pipelines, APIs, integrations, or platform services.
• Familiarity with VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, ESXi, Proxmox VE, or similar enterprise virtualization and platform technologies.
• Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows administration, scripting, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, logging, incident management, performance analysis, and service reliability practices.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for automation, continuous learning, and building reliable platform services.

Nice to have

• Exposure to cloud-native technologies, containers, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud platforms.
• Experience in Agile environments using Scrum or SAFe, with Jira, Confluence, and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with platform modernization, self-service platforms, developer experience initiatives, or Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience supporting engineering applications, industrial systems, SCADA environments, or operational technology solutions.
