Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Based in the UAE, in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

What you will do

• Translate client business needs into scoped, deployable AI solutions with acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
• Design, build, and deploy production-grade LLM systems, including RAG pipelines, tool-calling agents, workflow automation, and conversational interfaces.
• Develop Python or TypeScript services, APIs, connectors, and integrations with client data sources and business tools.
• Apply code review, automated testing, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and quality, latency, and cost tracking for AI components.
• Deliver solutions in governed enterprise environments while respecting approved libraries, data access controls, and security reviews.
• Communicate technical trade-offs, progress, and risks; support adoption through training, documentation, and knowledge transfer; contribute to business development and internal generative AI accelerators.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in software engineering or applied AI engineering.
• Strong production experience with Python or TypeScript.
• Production experience with LLMs and agents, beyond prototypes.
• Experience building RAG pipelines, tool-calling agents, and LLM workflows with evaluation and safeguards.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, the OpenAI SDK, and the Anthropic SDK.
• Experience building beyond low-code, including API design and integrations across heterogeneous systems.
• Experience deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with Git and CI/CD.
• Experience working in governed enterprise environments with approved libraries and services, data access controls, and security reviews.
• Ability to translate client needs into deployable solutions and explain technical decisions to non-technical audiences.
• Professional proficiency in English is required. No certification is required.
