Data Product Manager - Algorithms Division (AI)

hirify.global's R&D Data & Analytics department develops data solutions supporting advanced algorithm development.

What you will do

• Work with algorithm researchers and development teams to understand research processes, identify data needs, and translate them into detailed technical requirements.
• Lead the technical definition of data solutions, tools, and infrastructure for algorithm development, training, and validation.
• Collaborate with Data Collection and Data Infrastructure teams to maintain data quality, availability, and alignment with algorithmic requirements.
• Define and improve data structures, standards, and workflows for efficient algorithm development and experimentation.
• Identify data lifecycle bottlenecks and drive practical solutions, including prototypes, automated workflows, and internal tools using AI-assisted development tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FinOps, to optimize data storage, usage, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical product management, focused on complex, engineering-driven products or platforms.
• Deep technical understanding of data systems, software architecture, development workflows, and infrastructure.
• Experience working with R&D teams and translating complex technical or research-driven needs into detailed product and engineering requirements.
• Hands-on capability to independently build small tools, prototypes, or applications.
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical challenges and drive solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Previous hands-on software development experience.
