DevOps Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Run reliable and secure infrastructure with AI agents serving as the first line of SRE.
• Build, operate, write, and review Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code systems with AI coding agents.
• Build and run MCP servers providing agents with safe, read-only-by-default access to Kubernetes, AWS, logs, metrics, and databases.
• Perform agentic SRE, including AI alert triage, root-cause analysis across logs, metrics, and traces, and drafting incident timelines and postmortems.
• Convert runbooks into agent-executable workflows with human approval for risky actions, and manage monitoring, alerting, on-call, database operations, backups, and disaster recovery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of DevOps or SRE experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS.
• Experience with an observability stack including Prometheus and Grafana, plus Loki, ELK, or a similar tool.
• Daily use of AI agents for infrastructure work.
• Hands-on experience configuring and using MCP servers for infrastructure or observability tools.
• Security mindset for agent access, including least privilege, audit logs, and secrets handling.
• Experience building a custom MCP server or operations agent.
• Hands-on experience with AI SRE tools such as k8sgpt, HolmesGPT, or AI features in Datadog, PagerDuty, or incident.io.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry.
• PostgreSQL or Aurora operations experience.
