TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/AWS): Building and operating the infrastructure of a new product from scratch with an accent on Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and highly available data systems. Focus on designing scalable AWS environments, automating deployments with Terraform and Ansible, and improving reliability, security, monitoring, and incident response.

Location: Office-based in Limassol, Cyprus

hirify.global LTD is building the infrastructure of a new product from scratch without legacy systems.

What you will do

Design, implement, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure deployment.
Deploy, administer, scale, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and AWS infrastructure.
Automate infrastructure management with Terraform and Ansible.
Administer Linux servers, networks, DNS, Kafka, NATS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and ClickHouse clusters.
Build monitoring, logging, alerting, PKI, SSH access management, and infrastructure security systems.
Resolve incidents, optimize performance and reliability, administer office IT systems, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Linux administration, networking, file systems, and complex GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, and EKS.
Experience administering Kafka and database clusters, including high availability, replication, backup, recovery, and performance monitoring.
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Zabbix, SSH, PKI, and infrastructure security.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, independence, accountability, and effective teamwork.

Nice to have

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, CKA, or CKAD certification.
Experience with Azure or GCP.
Knowledge of RabbitMQ or Redis Streams.
Experience with Istio or Linkerd service meshes.
