Live Ops Intern (Gaming)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work model with flexible work from home

What you will do

• Set up and execute in-game promotions and events accurately and on time.
• Write briefs for in-game communications, including visual assets and push notifications, and coordinate their setup.
• Use analytical tools and dashboards to monitor Live Ops results and evaluate the impact of promotions and events.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Game Producers, the Live Operations team, and other game production stakeholders.
• Play hirify.global games and competitors’ titles to identify opportunities to improve features, player engagement, and the overall game experience.

Requirements

• Passion for games across different platforms and interest in understanding player engagement.
• Basic understanding of free-to-play game business and economics, including player engagement and in-game promotions.
• Proficiency in Excel and interest in working with analytical tools and dashboards.
• Intermediate English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, results-driven, organised, detail-oriented, player-focused, proactive, and collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Previous gaming industry experience, including internships, student projects, or personal projects.
• Experience using task-tracking tools such as Jira or Trello in academic, personal, or professional projects.
