Configuration & Data Management Analyst - Lunar Permanence (Aerospace)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees.

Base pay for Colorado applicants: $69,015–$96,621 per year; ranges may differ by site.

What you will do

• Implement configuration and data management policies, procedures, and standards for human-rated spaceflight.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and models, specifications, change orders, contract requirements, documentation, and release processes.
• Support change control by documenting risks and change impacts.
• Provide data management services to product teams and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Manage supplier data, data structures, and program libraries to improve access and retrieval.
• Train engineers on configuration and data management processes and establish communication with major stakeholders.

Requirements

• BA/BS in a related technical or liberal arts discipline.
• Experience with intermediate configuration management principles, including creating and releasing engineering documents.
• Proficiency with design tools and manufacturing resource planning.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of direct product configuration management experience covering product structures, parts, drawings, documents, and requirements management.
• Familiarity with PLM and/or data management tools.
• Experience in the aerospace or automotive industries.
• Working knowledge of configuration management principles and practices.
• Experience with customer deliverables (CDRLs) and supplier deliverables (SDRLs).
• Experience with Creo, CATIA, MPMLink, GitLab, Cameo, or MRP/MES systems.
• Experience using Windchill, Creo, Jama Connect, Confluence, and Jira.
• Familiarity with EAR/ITAR export control regulations and contractual requirements.
