Risk Manager (Asset Management)

What you will do

• Lead the hirify.global FE Taiwan risk strategy as the official Risk Manager across investment, non-financial, financial, and sustainability risks.
• Establish and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, processes, governance, systems, and tools aligned with regulatory requirements and hirify.global standards.
• Manage risk projects in collaboration with the Risk Department, Investment Division, Compliance, Product Management, portfolio managers, business management, clients, and regulators.
• Operationalize risk limitation, measurement, monitoring, escalation, and decision-making processes for existing and new products and businesses.
• Assess investment targets for credit quality, ESG compliance, and physical and transition climate risks, while maintaining valuation risk governance and reporting.
• Support APAC risk monitoring through key risk indicator analysis, management reporting, emerging risk identification, and follow-up coordination.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in securities, futures, or asset management at a well-established institution.
• Qualification as an associated person of securities investment trust and consulting enterprises, senior securities specialist, or securities investment analyst under the applicable Taiwanese regulations.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments, related risk factors, risk analytics, and risk-source identification.
• Hands-on experience with local regulatory frameworks applicable to mutual funds and asset management companies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact continuously with internal business functions and external clients and regulators.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Excellent written, spoken, and reading English and Chinese.
• Proven ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows, solve business problems, and apply critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
