Solution Architect (Alibaba Cloud)

What you will do

• Define enterprise cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, adoption roadmaps, and migration strategies for Alibaba Cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Design and implement Alibaba Cloud Landing Zones covering resource and account management, networking, IAM, logging, monitoring, observability, and security baselines.
• Establish reusable infrastructure patterns with Infrastructure as Code and lead architecture reviews and technical design workshops.
• Partner with business, application, engineering, Cloud Operations, and SRE teams to deliver cloud-native solutions and operationally stable platforms.
• Design security, risk, compliance, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, monitoring, alerting, and performance management standards.
• Establish FinOps and cloud cost governance practices, including infrastructure optimization, usage reporting, and cost forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressive information technology experience, including at least 5 years in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or senior technical leadership roles designing and delivering complex enterprise technology solutions.
• Experience in cloud architecture, including Alibaba Cloud, application modernization, systems integration, enterprise platforms, and large-scale technology transformation in complex organizations.
• Strong experience in architecture governance, technology standards, security and risk management, and designing scalable, resilient, and secure technology solutions.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise and application architecture patterns, systems integration, and technology design for large-scale distributed platforms.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native services, infrastructure design, platform engineering, and multi-cloud environments, including AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
• Advanced understanding of software engineering practices, application development frameworks, APIs, microservices architecture, and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of technology security, risk management, resilience, data protection, regulatory compliance, and secure-by-design principles.
• Practical experience with architecture governance, technology roadmaps, technical standards, architecture review processes, and stakeholder engagement across complex enterprise environments.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Professional certifications in Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other architecture and cloud technologies.
