What you will do

• Investigate complex content opportunities using data, research, and market signals to produce strategic insights.
• Develop recommendations that guide investment decisions across Canva’s content ecosystem.
• Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Data, Content & Discovery, and other relevant disciplines.
• Identify user and content trends, emerging opportunities, and gaps that may influence future strategy.
• Frame ambiguous problems, develop hypotheses, evaluate evidence, and move stakeholders toward clear decisions.
• Improve frameworks, processes, and ways of working for content decisions at scale.

Requirements

• Strong analytical thinking and practical expertise in content, users, and digital products.
• Ability to independently investigate ambiguous problems, gather information from multiple sources, and form evidence-based recommendations.
• Ability to move between detailed investigation and broad strategic thinking.
• Strong collaborative communication skills, including the ability to bring perspectives together, challenge assumptions constructively, and build alignment.
• Ability to tackle complex problems with minimal guidance and use judgement across multiple sources of information.
• Ability to communicate complex strategic ideas clearly and influence teams and related teams.
• Motivation to help build a content ecosystem that enables people to create and communicate visually.
