Intern, Health Economics and Outcomes Research

What you will do

• Support systematic literature reviews and evidence synthesis across healthcare topics.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of health economic models.
• Interpret and communicate quantitative and qualitative findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare memos, reports, evidence tables, presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
• Participate in client-facing meetings and provide administrative support for ongoing projects.
• Research methodologies, improve workflows, and maintain tools and documentation in line with best practices.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in a healthcare-related field.
• Demonstrated interest in healthcare research, health policy, or economics.
• Experience in economics, public policy, epidemiology, public health, operations research, or related research areas.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, analytical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with eagerness to learn and share knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid academic performance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and formal training in quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies.
• Familiarity with statistical programming tools such as R, SAS, or similar platforms.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
