Graphic Design: Video Editing Intern

Location: Remote from Peru; other location listed: Bogota, Colombia.

Salary: $800 USD monthly as an independent contractor.

What you will do

• Assist animators and graphic designers in creating 2D motion graphics and animated assets.
• Support storyboard creation and translate creative briefs into animated sequences.
• Edit short-form and mid-length videos, including rough cuts, pacing, transitions, audio, graphics, captions, and visual enhancements.
• Prepare final video exports optimized for the hirify.global app, YouTube, and Google Paid Ads.
• Assist with video scripts and structured narrative outlines while aligning messaging with brand tone and campaign goals.
• Implement revisions based on feedback from animators and graphic designers.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in motion design or animation.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of motion design principles and timing.
• Solid video editing fundamentals, including pacing, rhythm, and storytelling.
• Ability to follow creative direction and brand guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools; comfort leveraging AI for productivity, research, and communication is required.
• Strong written English for scripting and captioning.

Nice to have

• Basic sound design and audio cleanup skills using Audition or Adobe Podcast Enhance.
• Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Slack and Jira.
