Graphic Design Intern (AI)

Location: Remote, Peru

Salary: $800 USD per month as an independent contractor

What you will do

• Develop and maintain consistent visual branding across websites, email, print, and sales decks while following brand guidelines.
• Conceptualize and design graphics for in-app banners, emails, landing pages, sales decks, video storyboards, and display ads.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, product, and sales teams to meet goals and timelines.
• Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
• Translate complex ideas into simple, elegant visuals that strengthen brand storytelling and identity.
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies and contribute fresh creative ideas.

Requirements

• Previous design experience through coursework, internships, freelance work, and/or personal projects.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
• Demonstrated experience working with Claude or an equivalent large language model tool; comfort leveraging AI for productivity, research, and communication is required.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating visual design across digital formats, including thoughtful use of typography, UI elements, icons, and graphic elements in emails, in-app experiences, landing pages, websites, or other marketing assets.
• Strong aesthetic, typography, and composition skills with a passion for engaging and visually striking design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to share ideas clearly, ask questions, receive constructive feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or able to demonstrate equivalent skills through a strong portfolio.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or other emerging creative tools.
• Jira experience.
