Manager, Finance - LAM Shared Services

Location: São Paulo, Brazil. Applicants must be currently and legally authorized to reside and work in Brazil; international relocation and remote work outside Brazil are not considered. Travel required: 0%-10%.

What you will do

• Oversee monthly accounting activities, month-end close, balance sheet and income statement analysis, expense trends, and financial variances.
• Analyze leases, customer contracts, and complex transactions to determine accounting treatment under IFRS and company policies.
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, financial uploads, project setups, labor allocations, and billing activities.
• Maintain financial controls and resolve root causes of reporting and accounting variances.
• Partner with regional controllers, management, global finance teams, and shared services stakeholders on ERP enhancements and business initiatives.
• Lead and develop the Latin America accounting team, special projects, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 7+ years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a team and developing talent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply accounting and financial policies and procedures.
• Strong understanding of the financial impact of accounting transactions.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, attention to detail, and accuracy skills.
• Strong experience with enterprise financial and reporting systems, including Oracle Cloud, OneStream, and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
