Senior Manager - Production Services

Location: Alpharetta, GA or Durham, NC, USA; hybrid role requiring in-office work three days per week under the Hybrid 2.0 Policy.

Salary: $109,400–$215,500, $120,300–$237,000, or $131,200–$258,500 annually, depending on location zone.

What you will do

• Manage the Food & Burt’s Production Services team and deliver technical support for cost savings, supply assurance, brand maintenance, qualifications, quality improvement, and innovation initiatives.
• Lead technical professionals across process, packaging, and manufacturing, developing both technical expertise and Production Supply Organization leadership capability.
• Set the multi-year technical capability strategy and lead Production Services standard work across both business units.
• Own the Production Services portfolio and personally lead complex, business-critical, high-risk, multi-site, and multi-business-unit initiatives.
• Coordinate packaging and process workstreams covering planning, qualification, implementation, start-up support, post-launch stabilization, plant trials, line trials, and process validation.
• Partner with Product Supply, R&D, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, and external manufacturers to prioritize projects, allocate resources, manage risks, and protect supply continuity, quality, cost, compliance, food safety, and manufacturing stability.

Requirements

• Experience leading a team of up to six direct and indirect reports with multifunctional responsibility across a business unit.
• Experience developing technical professionals, succession plans, ready-now successors, and future-ready technical capabilities.
• Expertise in technical and operational processes covering packaging, process equipment, enterprise systems, qualifications, quality systems, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead complex technical programs by setting priorities, action plans, trial plans, decision gates, risk mitigation strategies, and structured problem-solving standards.
• Ability to develop and maintain specifications, manufacturing readiness documentation, change-management records, technical knowledge, and cross-functional communications.
• Ability to manage project prioritization, resource allocation, spending controls, and T&E budgets across multiple business units, sites, external manufacturers, and projects.
• Ability to work in or be located in Alpharetta, GA or Durham, NC and attend the office three days per week.
