Director of Solutions Engineering (Data Solutions)

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, Texas, United States

Salary: $198,000–$222,500 US base salary annually, plus bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Establish and scale a center of excellence for enterprise scientific and data solutions for provider, life sciences, and research organizations.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing technical solutions team while fostering innovation, accountability, and impact.
• Drive complex enterprise programs from solution design through launch and ongoing operations.
• Build executive-level relationships with customers and industry leaders across the biomedical and healthcare data ecosystem.
• Shape technical strategy and influence the product and platform roadmap across AI, healthcare data, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer or data science, engineering, or life sciences.
• 10+ years of leadership experience developing healthcare and life sciences technologies.
• Proven ability to build and scale high-impact technical teams and deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
• Demonstrated success partnering with senior customer stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes.

Nice to have

• Expertise with multiple health data modalities, including omics, imaging, biomarkers, claims, and SDOH, and their use in research and care.
• Deep understanding of research workflows, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience applying advanced AI/ML techniques, including LLMs, NLP, and generative AI, to health data at scale.
• Executive-level experience with cloud platforms, data pipelines, and enterprise integration.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills across technical, scientific, and commercial domains.
