Finance & Controlling Systems Specialist – Project & Run (SAP Expert)

Location: Marignane, France, in the Marseille and Aix-en-Provence area; based at the Marignane site.

What you will do

• Lead and monitor end-to-end IT and Finance project schedules, including milestones, priorities, scope, and stakeholder reporting.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for Accounting and Controlling modules.
• Coordinate testing, defect tracking, business validation, deployment, and go-live activities.
• Design and deliver training to support adoption of new solutions by business teams.
• Support live Accounting and Controlling systems by analyzing and resolving functional incidents and user requests with IT support teams.
• Identify bottlenecks, implement minor enhancements, and maintain functional documentation and knowledge bases.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Finance and Controlling modules (FI/CO) is mandatory.
• Experience with S/4HANA is advantageous.
• Proven experience combining IT/Finance Project Management with operational application support in Run/BAU mode.
• Solid understanding of core Accounting and Financial Controlling processes.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and resilient when facing shifting priorities.
• Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical teams and finance executives.
• Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.
• Fluent English in written and spoken communication for daily work, and native French.

• PMI, Prince2, or Agile certification.
