Data Support Engineer

Location: Athens, Attiki, Greece. Hybrid work combines remote and office-based working, including the option to work from abroad.

What you will do

• Operate, administer, and maintain assigned data-domain systems and services.
• Perform L1/L2 support, incident and service request management, problem analysis, resolution, configuration changes, health checks, and housekeeping.
• Triage tickets, identify bugs, enhancements, and minor product issues, and escalate them to appropriate teams.
• Manage fault logging, tracking, resolution verification, batch processing, and interface operations.
• Support releases and deployments while coordinating with vendors and other operational teams.
• Maintain incident repair times and system or service availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, or Data Analytics.
• Good experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of IT operations systems and procedures.
• Excellent analytical, incident-management, and problem-management skills.
• Self-motivation, strong time-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to influence, mentor, and collaborate with agile development teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English with technical and business audiences.
